INTRODUCTION

"I lost my phone to WhatsApp flirting.

She's one of the group members with the most beautiful display picture have ever seen.  I tried throwing her poetic jibes but she took no notice.

So I decided to gain her attention directly by trading my phone. I challenged her to a duel and staked my phone. She won, I lost, but I gained her attention. In the end I felt satisfied."

LAMENTATIONS OF A UNILAG STUDENT

L
“It’s high time we began accentuating the positive and eliminating the negative,
It’s high time we declared we kno our rights and differences between privilege and responsibility,
Its not a privilege if we are given all that is needed to succeed, our altruistic welfares is their responsibility.
The drastic decision by the management of UNILAG to eject students from their hostels, without an iota of consultation; prior notice or information of any kind, is totally undemocratic and a departure from all norms of progress and societal tranquillity. The students are relevant stakeholders in the school community and to be carried along in the affairs of the school is very imperative.
It is even more appalling that the V.C did not deem it fit to address the complains of the student before the protest escalated to an unwarranted ejection. We begin to wonder if this is a democracy. We wish to declare that this singular undemocratic decision is capable of sabotaging the peace of the state if not properly managed.

THE ORIGIN AND CONCEPT OF SIN

It is a common saying among the Christians that they aren’t sinners, but it seems most of them have no idea what they proclaim and I only got to know this when I wrote about sex, saying it is not a sin regardless of where and how is being practiced. Most of the so-called Christians, who often brag they are not sinners found it hard to agree with me, they accused me of being heretic and some even said I am a false prophet. Their accusations only got me wondering if they really understand what sin is. If they say they aren’t sinners and call sex a sin except with a married partner, yet most of them have sex before and outside marriage and say they are not sinners, it means they have no idea what sin is and what it is not. This inspired me to make my research on what sin is and what it is not.

What is sin?
According to English dictionary, sin is a violation of God’s will or religious law.
That is the most precise definition of sin. Sin is primarily against God, thus anything considered to be sin must be a violation of God’s will.
You can offend a person, it is not a sin; such offence can only be called sin if they violate God’s will. Talking about religious laws, violating them is a sin if it violates the Will of the deity to which the religion was created.
Among all the history books on how God related with human beings, none gives a clearer clue as regard the origin of sin like the Bible and the Quran. These two books have similar view as regard how sin came into existence.

How did sin come alive?

THE WORD NAMED JESUS CHRIST

NEITHER HUMAN NOR A PROPHET

Talking about Jesus Christ, the first thing that comes to mind is Christianity, a religion, but Jesus came for the secular world and he didn’t establish any religion.
Jesus is a necessity for the world not to be limited any religion however; the religions have limited him to themselves and to others alone. Some call him human being, some say he's a prophet, all in support of their religious believes, but none of these truly define Jesus.
There is a general believe in the Christendom that Jesus was 100% God; 100% Man, That's a very wrong school of thought. I’ve heard people say they saw Jesus in their dreams; a very handsome White-man in white robe, that’s always the picture, if most of them had seen an ugly black man in black robes; they would have said they saw the devil even though he reveals the mind of God. If it was true they saw Jesus then it was God trying to speak to them using what they believe Jesus to be and that testifies to the fact that they don’t have the real idea of Jesus’ identity. Some call him prophet, but they are also wrong.
